Tabitha McPhee


Tabitha joined Early Start in 2017 and hasn’t looked back. Tabitha graduated from Newcastle University with Honours in 2016. Tabitha began her career in a paediatric private practice, working with children with literacy and speech sound disorders. She then relocated and worked at Maitland Hospital in the rehabilitation setting. Tabitha developed her skills in the rehabilitation setting assessing and treating adult clients that had suffered a stroke or a traumatic brain injury. As a result, Tabitha is skilled at seeing both children and adults.

Tabitha has developed her interest in speech sound disorders including Childhood Apraxia of Speech, as well as working with literacy, and social communication and Autism Spectrum Disorder. She has undertaken additional training in these areas. With regards to the adult population, Tabitha is highly skilled in the assessment and treatment in the areas of voice disorders, swallowing problems (dysphagia) and post stroke rehabilitation of language.

Tabitha adores seeing all of her clients and believes in working hard and having fun in order to succeed and achieve.  Tabitha works full time at both our Warners Bay and Wallsend Clinics.
